Ethics class + saturday night fever
On that Saturday morning we had some Ethics classes. The teacher was GREAT. So far nothing compared to Supelec's teacher. He was very catchy actually. Here is a picture of our classroom for the rest of the summer.

I was sitting in the back row, trying to socialize with other students. What was great is that they provided us with snacks for the breaks and with lunch at noon. Imagine that in France...
So the morning went on, PJ, Yann and myself invited some boys and girls of our program to join us in the evening to have dinner and eventually go to a pub downtown.
Meanwhile in the afternoon PJ, Yann and myself watched some series and films before we went to the pool and the fitness center on central campus. They also have a sauna wherever there s a pool. Therefore we were in good shape for our rendez vous in the evening.
At 7PM we went to a Korean restaurant with that group of students from our program. We ended up by going to 2 different bars. One Irish pub on Main St which was more young professional oriented. The second on S. University which was more for undergraduate students.
(more pictures of that night to come...)
What I like here is that people are very consistent at work, compared to France. Another point is that money is not a taboo at all. People do not feel afraid of talking about their future income or whatsoever.

I have been talking about South Campus, North Campus and Central Campus for a while so here are maps with everything on it :
In green : north campus, where we have this summer program classes
In blue : south campus with mainly recreational facilities
In brown : where I mainly go for the grocery store shopping
In yellow : where I have to apply for my driving licence
In blue : that pool with the water slide I like so much
In red : where I live
In blue : the pool with the fitness center
In pink : the library where you can borrow DVDs
In black : the building with the huge computer lab inside
In green : the building with the fast food restaurants in the basement
In brown : the place where you had these concerts and movies in the outdoor during Ann Arbor summer festival
In grey : the place where I am looking for an appartment
In yellow : places where you can find bars and restaurants
In blue : the pool with the fitness center
I hope all these maps helped a little.
Have a good week !

I saw on one of your map that you have to apply for a driver license. Is the french one not enough ? You have to take a test or is it juste redtape ?
Wow... seems very big compared to what we have in France... Even the scientific area of Toulouse (Supaero-Enac-Faculty of Toulouse III-CNES-OMP-INSA) is little compared to this, I think.
Have a good week ! ;)
Actually Alex the French license is fine between 1 and 3 months, depending if you are a permanent resident or not.
Take care dude
