A glimpse of this busy week

Hi buddies !

Back with some news ! ^^
I must have a really good excuse for having been quiet for so many days. Actually there was this apartment issue. I eventually found an apartment to rent for one year at the corner of Lawrence St and North State St --> pictures to come as soon as I move in 30 days from now :-)

Another issue was the homework. As most of you may now we are currently having classes for this summer program. This week was split between maths classes and business economics classes. The maths teacher is not very sensitive to students average dislike for his power point slides ;-)
Therefore whenever there s a chance to go to the restrooms or whatever, it s like seventh heaven XD
Oh I forgot to tell you something, it is very common to have snacks here during the class. As a matter of fact they provide us with packs of bottled water, chips, hot tea, coffee, hot chocolate. It s so different from classes in France where you cannot even drink a can of coke.

Anyway, too much talking right ? Here are some pictures of the week :

As we were in a business economics class a woman suddenly came into the classroom and asked : "Hi! is it okay if a couple of hundreds of people come in here because there is a tornado warning right now, it may last up to 20 minutes or so"
So a sudden crowd started spreading into the classroom O_o

The major event of the week was that Ann Arbor's Art Fair : it s like an art festival where lots of artists from lots of places come like for an exhibition. That made me busy too...

These were pictures from very gloomy neighborhood of NYC I think and the colors were so amazing that that gloomy atmosphere would go away as you would stare at the pictures.

There was also this funny dog...

... and that disturbing woman

This"bison" (sorry I don t have any dictionary) made of nails only ! That was really nice: the use of nails gave you the visual appearance of fur !

A bear, also made of nails !

Here a $42000-moose made, again, of nails. Everything was so amazing but quite expensive on the whole

Lots of streets were closed on central campus for pedestrian use only

The fountain on central campus, right down to the bell tower.

Be careful, the bigger these Pretzels are, the more dangerous they become ;-)

Yann and his friends =)...
(from top, left from right : Lauren (Dayna's friend), Dayna (Yann's Roommate), myself, Yann, Peter (1st skeleton), Yann, Tom (2nd one), PJ, Lauren, myself, Yann)
...find the error ^^

WOW ( in French make sure you pronounce wAow lol) ! What a French artist !

I really had a good time with the whole of you ! Thanks Yann for broadening our horizons ^_^
