Last day before summer program starts...
Let me tell you about my last day. Even if it may be a little boring reading text only. I woke up quite late since I went to bed a bit late due to some chitchat with some girl. It was around 10:30 am when I decided to move out of the bed. Suddenly PJ gave me a phone call asking whether he could come home to take advantage of my WIFI since his was not working at home.
While he was here I spent most of the morning checking and answering emails for several issues including banking, housing and university tuition. It is great to be entirely on your own but still you have some duties and you must not forget that you are responsible for thinking about everything. Anyway, I ll stop with this moralistic speech and I keep on telling you about the entire day. For lunch PJ and myself joined Yann to eat at Union's fast food restaurants (the ones you could see in one of my previous posts while we were visiting the facilities). Then we all went to the Student Activities Building to ask for some information. I personally asked for how to join the salsa dancing club of the university. Indeed, I have been dancing a little of rock but I know that it is not girls' favorite dance ;-).... oho you see what I mean guys ;-) Well I am not particularly looking for a hookup but I think that it's never so bad to meet people through extra curriculum activities =) These salsa classes take place every Sunday and It is either $3/Sunday or $10/semester or $20/year. I ll give it a try for one semester I think ^^ What do you think about learning salsa ? Especially you guys who learned it in Supelec or wheresoever.
Later in the afternoon, after we had split at the Student Activities Building, I met Yann at South Campus pool (there is a pool on each campus : one on north, one on south and one on central campus). All pools of the university are FREE for students and ALL the other sport facilities. Therefore we enjoyed some lap swimming, some sauna, some fitness center and went back home to have dinner. PJ and Yann passed by to watch a movie (groundhog day) and they went back home at night.
Tomorrow is going to be a sort of welcome day for ALL students this time, and there is probably going to be lots of outdoor activities. I'd better go to bed so that I will be in good shape tomorrow night to tell you about this brand new day.
